Innova EXT
Energy Savings During Dye Preparation
Prior to dyeing cellulosic fibers like polyester and blends, fabrics are bleached to obtain a base white. Our multifunctional polymeric surfactant, Innova EXT, allows for a self-neutralizing bleaching process.
Innova EXT reduces residual sodium hydroxide in the fibers, allowing textile manufacturers to continue with the existing bath through the dyeing process. The water required for pre-treatment and rinsing is reduced on average between 50-65%.
Increased Reproducibility with Innova EXT
The self-neutralizing process that eliminates the requirement for rinsing residual sodium hydroxide has the unique advantage of high cotton absorbency. By creating a consistent starting point for all dye profiles, there is increased reproducibility with less shade variation and streaking.
This gives textile manufacturers greater guarantee of dyehouse performance and accuracy for large batch productions. Plus, with the reduction in water consumption, capacity can increase while costly variables decrease.
